Veverka - Whaam!

Flavors and style:

Whaam! is a lively Petit-Nat with a playful character and fine perlage. Tropical aromas of pomelo, mandarin orange, lemon, and a subtle floral note of elderflower dominate the nose. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, almost like a sparkling breakfast drink, with a slightly salty minerality and a fruity grapefruit finish. An uncomplicated, sparkling pleasure – very approachable and charming.

Terroir and cellar work:

Made from Welschriesling grapes from biodynamically farmed vineyards in Moravia (Czech Republic), spontaneously fermented. This is a traditionally produced Pétillant Naturel: the must is bottled directly with residual yeast, creating natural carbonation. Unfiltered, unfined, and completely pure, with minimal use of sulfur – this is how the terroir is authentically reflected.

Whaam! is a perfect aperitif – served ice-cold, refreshing, and light. It pairs perfectly with summer fruit salads, light, savory appetizers, or Asian snacks. It's also ideal with fruity desserts or simply on its own as a sparkling daytime companion.
