Flavors and style

Elegant and mineral with a salty undertone and notes of pear and peach. A slightly sparkling texture, delicate creaminess, and approximately 12.5% alcohol result in a lively yet delicate natural wine experience.  

Terroir and cellar work

100% Grüner Veltliner from older vines (since 1974) on calcareous loess-clay soils in Velkopavlovická, South Moravia. The grapes are crushed by foot and macerated for 12 hours, undergo spontaneous fermentation, and mature for an extended period in 3,000-liter new Stockinger barrels. Minimal sulfurization shortly before bottling, unfiltered, and unfined—a purely natural wine.

Tastes great with seafood, creamy fish dishes, steamed vegetables or as a stylish aperitif – especially with a salty crunch.
