Flavors and style

Ryzlink 2023 is a clearly structured Riesling with lively acidity and cool elegance. The nose reveals green apple, lime, white blossom, and a hint of stone fruit. The palate is taut and fresh, with precise fruit, fine minerality, and a saline finish. A multifaceted Riesling that emphasizes flow and clarity—unfussy, lively, and precise.

Terroir and cellar work

The grapes come from biodynamically farmed vineyards around Znojmo in South Moravia, not far from the Podyjí National Park. The soils are characterized by granite and loess. The harvest is done by hand, and fermentation takes place spontaneously, partly in wooden barrels and partly in Georgian qvevri amphorae. The wine remains on its fine lees for a long time and is bottled unfiltered, unfined, and with minimal sulfur – puristic, distinctive, and handmade.

Fits

An ideal partner for oysters, fresh goat cheese, ceviche, roasted asparagus, or Vietnamese pho with lime and fresh herbs. It's also a reliable companion, fresh and distinctive, as an aperitif or with simple vegetable dishes.
