Flavors and style:

The wine has a light golden yellow color. The nose reveals elegant notes of stone fruit such as pear and ripe peach, accompanied by rose petals and delicate nutmeg spice. On the palate, it showcases its freshness with stimulating acidity, a creamy texture, and a prominent minerality. The finish is soft, harmonious, and invites you to take another sip.

Terroir and cellar work:

Hišno Vino Blanc originates from the Štajerska Slovenija region in northeastern Slovenia, where Michael and Maria Gross cultivate biodynamically on steep, limestone- and marly-rich terraced vineyards between 350 and 400 meters above sea level. The blend of Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau, and Gelber Muskateller was gently crushed by foot, spontaneously fermented on the skins for 10 days, and then aged for 10 months in stainless steel. Unfiltered and unfined, the wine brings character and craftsmanship directly to the glass.

Fits:

A true all-rounder: it's ideal with pasta, white meat dishes like schnitzel, Asian fusion cuisine, seafood, or mild cheeses. It works both as an uncomplicated table wine and as an exciting accompaniment to varied menus.
