This wine comes from the Seewinkel region of Burgenland, where Gerhard and Brigitte Pittnauer cultivate biodynamically, bringing out the pure character of their sandy and gravelly vineyards. Hand-picked, spontaneous fermentation, and aging on the fine lees in used barrels—no frills at all. Minimal intervention, plenty of feeling—the result is a wine that combines nature and craftsmanship.
