An authentic, unvarnished red wine with character: On the nose, dark berry fruit—blackberry, blackcurrant—with subtle herbal spice and a hint of graphite. On the palate, juicy and clearly structured, with lively acidity, fine tannins, and a restrained use of oak. Not a complaisant, but a purist, straightforward wine with depth and easy drinking.

Terroir and cellar work

Grown on calcareous soils in a cool location, the terroir shapes the wine's freshness and precision. Hand-harvesting, spontaneous fermentation, and aging in used wooden barrels demonstrate the wine's craftsmanship. No frills, just deliberately restrained cellar work, allowing origin and vintage to speak for themselves. The philosophy: honest, sustainable, and close to nature.

Fits

A versatile accompaniment to dishes—ideal with pasta with mushrooms, grilled vegetables, ratatouille, lentil dishes, or simply with good bread and cheese. It's also delicious served slightly chilled with grilled poultry or Mediterranean cuisine.
