Flavors and style
A fragrant, structured orange wine with floral notes, ripe pear, orange zest, and dried herbs. On the palate, it is soft and juicy, with a fine tannin structure, subtle phenolics, and a herbal, spicy finish. The texture is velvety, the style balanced and tranquil—a characterful yet approachable wine.
Terroir and cellar work
Doma 2022 is a blend of regional white grape varieties grown in organically farmed vineyards in the Little Carpathians, Slovakia. The grapes were hand-harvested and partially fermented on the skins – for up to two weeks, depending on the variety – which gives the wine its characteristic color, structure, and depth. Fermentation was spontaneous, unfiltered, and unfined in used wooden barrels, with minimal sulfur addition. Doma (Slovak for "home") represents the idea of an honest, grounded wine – authentic, pure, and uncompromisingly artisanal.
Fits
A versatile accompaniment to meals—ideal with seasonal vegetables, baked potatoes, mild cheese, and pasta with herbs. It also pairs well with Far Eastern cuisine with a touch of spice.
