Flavors and style  

Skrlet Selection 2017 is a distinctive white wine made from the rare, indigenous Skrlet grape variety. On the nose, it displays ripe pear, yellow apple, herbs, and a hint of honey. On the palate, it is clear, juicy, and tranquil, with a gentle texture, lively acidity, and a fine, mineral finish. A wine with character that skillfully combines ripe fruit and freshness.

Terroir and cellar work  

The grapes come from organically farmed vineyards in Moslavina, Croatia. There they grow on sandy-loam soils in a continental climate. The vinification is gentle: spontaneous fermentation, unfiltered, unfined, and with minimal sulfur. Aging in used wooden barrels adds depth without compromising freshness.

Fits  

It pairs perfectly with grilled fish, Mediterranean vegetable dishes, risotto, or white meat. It's also an exciting choice for Asian-style dishes with ginger, coriander, or soy sauce—especially when subtle acidity is required.
