Cota is a Croatian family winery with roots dating back to 1911, when Marko Cota, upon returning from America, planted his first vines and dug a natural stone cellar in Oklaj, near the Adriatic coast and Krka National Park. Today, Petar Cota leads the fourth generation and remains true to the uncompromisingly natural approach of his ancestors: no chemicals in the vineyard, no interventions in the cellar. Instead, they create fresh, vibrant wines that capture the Dalmatian sun – light, unpretentious, and always best enjoyed chilled.
